We are passionate about education and improving the success of students across the region. Our quest is to support the use of transformational technology to help institutions achieve more. Cyanea aims to do this differently. Constructively engaging our clients and using our experience of educational technology to source and support new and innovative solutions from around the world.

Established in 2017

Cyanea is there to close the distance between new innovation in education technology and the use of this technology to improve student success, to support a better student experience and to enable institutions to make better use of resources.

Our goal is to source and support education technology that makes a difference. With decades of regional experience we are here to help. This can be solving a particular issue where a technical helping hand is needed. Equally this may be more fundamental. A realignment of what you have today, an understanding of what needs to change and a clear way forward for effecting a positive outcome.

Mathew Boice
Managing Senior Partner

Mathew has been based in the region since 2002 and worked with senior decision makers in education across the Arab world, Africa and Asia, as well as previously working in education in the UK, Europe and the USA.

Chris Record
Senior Partner

Chris started his career as an officer in the British Royal Navy before moving to South Africa, ultimately becoming a CEO of a technology Company.  Now a managment consultant, Chris has been in Dubai since 2009 working across the Gulf and Africa delivering strategic projects for clients.

Sean Dollman
Senior Associate, Administrative Excellence

Sean has 20+ years experience inspiring innovation and student-centric change in both state and private universities. During the last 15 years, he’s served in senior leadership roles in universities across the region with particular focus on the student experience from student recruitment, enrollment, retention, parent and student engagement, curriculum management, and improving time to graduation and institutional graduation rates.

Steve has considerable experience working globally with international software and services companies including Cloud and SaaS. Steve has driven transformation, business process improvement and change management with organic growth and through mergers and acquisitions.
